Management Team
Meet the people at the helm of
The Rochester Group.

Peter Tieslink
Partner

Pete joined The Rochester Group in 1991 and is a co-owner of the company. He leads the company’s technical teams. In addition to managing the development activities, Pete contributes to the knowledge base at TRG by staying on top of industry trends and cutting-edge developments, bringing in new software partners and products, and researching new technology. His insight into industry trends is critical to the leadership team’s strategic decision making.

Pete is also a "project champion," assigned to projects as a mentor and escalation point. "I try to stay active in projects to keep perspective," says Pete. "We enjoy a pretty flat management structure at TRG, which encourages us to all work together as a team and makes it a fun place to work—interesting and enjoyable. The thing I find most rewarding about our process is that everyone gets to see projects go from start to finish.”

Prior to coming to The Rochester Group, Pete was one of three founders of Aztech Systems, Inc. where he spent eight years as one of the company’s leaders. He has an MBA in Computer & Information Systems and Operations Management from the University of Rochester’s William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration.

Michele Agostinelli
Vice President

Michele joined The Rochester Group as a consultant working with the company's biggest client. Since that time, she has built over ten years experience in customer relationship management and is now a member of the company’s leadership team, where she manages professional services teams.

"My job is to match talent with need, to get the right people on the right projects at the right time," says Michele. "We pride ourselves on our flexibility, and good resource allocation is key to that process." Pointing to the team’s competence in sales, marketing and finance, she notes, "Our business training and depth of experience with the technologies involved in these domains bring great benefit to our clients because we can walk in their door speaking both languages fluently."

Michele received a BA from the University of Rochester and a MBA in Computer and Information Systems and Marketing from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration.

Claude Marini
Partner

Claude joined The Rochester Group in 1991 and is responsible for managing the company’s operations and finance functions. As co-owner, he plays a key role on the leadership team that defines the company’s strategic direction.

In pursuit of continued growth and profitability for the company, Claude never loses sight of the other half of TRG's mission: to accomplish this in a corporate culture based on integrity, accountability, and self-worth. "One of my goals at TRG is to maintain the quality of life we have here, in an atmosphere that's comfortable and productive. Productive not just in the sense of getting things done, but in creating something of value. Knowing I've been part of putting that in place is one of the greatest rewards of working here for me."

Prior to coming to The Rochester Group, Claude was one of three founders of Aztech Systems, Inc. where he helped to lead the company for eight years. He has an MBA in Computer & Information Systems and Economics from the University of Rochester’s William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration.

Marcia Olson

I’m proud of the competence of our Professional Services teams. They have such flexibility in bringing a lot or a little help - depending on the customer’s needs - around process, integration, training and more.”
